Madame Fromage...rice pudding sounds LOVELY. Infact, I reckon now that you've said this...I'll try using a hollowed out orange. Thanks

My first visit to your blog. I'm so taken by the idea of stuffing lemons. I'm looking around the kitchen right now, thinking, "What else can a grrrl bake inside a lemon?" Maybe rice pudding for something on the sweet side? First, though, I'll try your recipe. Looks divine.

To be honest, it wasn't at all difficult to hollow the lemons out - If you run a knife around the sides and try to scoop-cut the inside out...you'll be done in a few :-) It is delicious, that much I can say and I'm just itching to do the same with oranges - I actually came across a chocolate cake baked in orange shells. As soon as I can refind the recipe, I'll share it.

I'm with Velva. Never thought of filling lemons. Was it not difficult to hollow out the lemons? Even with a knife? I will have to give it a try.

I am loving that fruit custard. YUM! I could spend all day just eating spoonfuls till it was all gone.

The baked lemons I thought was very interesting. It has never occurred to me bake lemons with a food filling. Very nice.

This is brilliant! The lemons! I want to do it to.

I figure you can branch out too... fennel in orange would be nice with briny olives.

the klafootees are always a good time too.
